How DivideBuy works

DivideBuy is a credit product that lets you spread the cost of your purchase into equal monthly instalments. Simply select DivideBuy at checkout, complete a short application, and if approved your order is placed automatically. You will not need to leave our website.

Monthly payments are collected automatically via Continuous Payment Authority (CPA) from your debit card on the date your instalment is due.

Please note: DivideBuy is a credit product provided by Zopa Bank. A credit check will be performed as part of your application. Your application is subject to approval and eligibility criteria.

Eligibility and applying

Who can apply for DivideBuy credit?

To be eligible you must be aged between 18 and 100, be a permanent UK resident, hold a valid debit or credit card, and have a valid UK mobile number and email address.

Will a credit check be performed?

Yes. A credit check is performed to assess your eligibility as part of your application. DivideBuy also offers a quick eligibility check on our website that will not affect your credit file, so you can see if you are likely to be approved before applying.

My application was declined. What can I do?

We’re sorry your application was not approved. You have the right to appeal this decision, although there is no guarantee the outcome will change. To request an appeal, contact DivideBuy at [email protected]. They may ask you to provide additional information to support your appeal.

You may also want to obtain a copy of your credit file before making any further applications. The credit reference agency used for your application is:

Payments and fees

How are monthly payments collected?

Payments are collected automatically via Continuous Payment Authority (CPA) from your debit card on the date your instalment is due. This method uses your long card number, expiry date, and three-digit CV2. You do not need to take any action each month.

Are there any fees or charges?

There are no hidden charges. For interest-free plans, you pay nothing beyond the product price.

Where an interest-bearing credit product is selected, a fixed interest rate is applied. Full details are provided before you sign electronically at checkout. Representative example: A loan of £3,000.00 over 24 months at a representative 9.9% APR will cost £137.18 per month. The total cost after 24 months is £3,280.34, which includes £280.34 interest at 9.9% fixed and a £0 fee.

How do I manage my DivideBuy account?

You can view your account, payment schedule, and make payments at any time by logging in to the DivideBuy customer portal at accounts.dividebuy.co.uk.

Delivery and returns

Can I have my order delivered to a different address?

As a general rule, orders must be delivered to your billing address as a fraud prevention measure. However, delivery to a different address may be possible with DivideBuy’s approval.

To request this, once you have placed your order and paid your first instalment, contact DivideBuy directly. They will review the request and notify us if approved. We are unable to ship to a different address until we have received confirmation from DivideBuy.

What if I want to cancel or return my order?

Please contact us in the first instance to cancel your order or arrange a return in line with our Returns & Refunds Policy. Once we have confirmed your return or cancellation, we will notify DivideBuy who will issue your refund and cancel your credit agreement. Please do not contact DivideBuy directly to cancel — the process must be initiated by us.
