Klarna’s Pay in 3 is a credit product that lets you spread the cost of your purchase over 3 equal interest-free payments. Klarna will take the first payment when you make your purchase, the second 30 days later, and the final payment 60 days from your purchase date. Payments are taken automatically from your debit or credit card. You can see your past and future payments at any time using the Klarna app.
Am I eligible for Pay in 3?
You need to be at least 18 years old and a UK resident. When you choose Klarna they will also check the information you provide and your financial situation.
Can I have multiple Pay in 3 orders at the same time?
Yes. If you see Pay in 3 at checkout it is available to you. Klarna will check your eligibility for each additional purchase individually.
What does Klarna consider when reviewing my application?
Klarna considers factors such as the purchase amount and your previous order history. You can improve your chances by providing your full name, accurate address details, and shipping to your registered billing address. All orders are assessed individually — previous approval does not guarantee future approval, and a previous decline does not mean future applications will be declined.
What do I need to provide when making a purchase?

Will a credit search take place?
Yes. When you use Pay in 3, Klarna will perform a credit search to decide whether to approve your purchase.
How do I make repayments?
Klarna will take your payments automatically from the card you used at checkout — on the day of purchase, then 30 and 60 days later. You can view past and future payments in the Klarna app.
Can I pay before the due date?
Yes. Log in to the Klarna app or visit klarna.com/uk at any time to make an early payment.
What happens if I don’t make a payment on time?
Pay in 3 is a credit product and you are required to make your scheduled payments. If payment fails you may be charged a late fee. Klarna may also share information about missed payments with credit reference agencies, which could make it more difficult or expensive to use Klarna or other credit products in the future.
What happens if I don’t pay for my order?
If you don’t make your payments you will be in arrears. Klarna may share information about missed payments with credit reference agencies and may refer the debt to a debt collection agency. This may affect your ability to obtain credit in the future.
I’ve received a payment request but haven’t received my goods.
Please contact us to check on your order and delivery status. You can also contact Klarna’s Customer Service to postpone your payment due date or put the order on hold in the Klarna app while you wait for your goods to arrive.
What happens if I cancel or return my order?
As soon as we have confirmed your cancellation or return with Klarna, they will cancel any future scheduled payments and refund any amounts already paid. You will see the update in the Klarna app immediately.
How long will my refund take?
Once we have registered your cancellation or return, refunds are normally processed within 5 business days and issued back to the original debit or credit card used at checkout.
What happens if I return part of my order?
Once we have confirmed the partial return with Klarna, an updated statement with an adjusted payment schedule will be sent to you. You can always monitor the status of your order in the Klarna app.

Pay in 30 days is a credit product which lets you pay any time within 30 days of your purchase, interest-free. You can make this payment using a debit or credit card via the Klarna app or at klarna.com/uk. Klarna will send you a confirmation email once your order is confirmed with full details.

Financing
How do I apply for Klarna Financing?
Add your item to your basket and proceed to checkout as normal. Select the Financing payment option and complete the short application. You won’t leave our website. If approved, your payment plan will be created and your order placed automatically.
Am I eligible for Financing?
You must be at least 18 years old and a UK resident. Your application is subject to Klarna’s review of your details and financial circumstances. A full credit search will be performed as part of the application.
What details do I need to provide?
You will need to provide your name, billing address, email address, phone number, and your employment and bank details.
Will I need to pay a deposit upfront?
In some cases you may be required to pay a portion of the balance as a deposit upfront. If this applies, you will be prompted to do so as part of the Financing application.
Will I pay interest on Financing?
Interest rates vary depending on the credit agreement offered and will be clearly displayed at the point of checkout before you confirm your purchase.
How are monthly repayments collected?
During the application you will set up a Direct Debit Mandate. Klarna will collect your monthly instalments automatically from your bank account. Please ensure you have sufficient funds available on your repayment date each month.
Will applying for Financing affect my credit score?
Yes. Klarna will perform a full credit search with credit reference agencies when you apply. This will be recorded on your credit file regardless of whether credit is approved, and will be visible to third parties and other lenders.
What happens if I miss a payment?
Klarna will report payment information — including late or missed payments — to credit reference agencies. Missing payments may affect your credit rating and ability to obtain credit in the future.
I purchased using Financing and would like to return my item.
Please contact us to process your return. Once your return has been confirmed, your Klarna Financing plan will be adjusted accordingly.
How long will my refund take?
