About your Pro
The Pro is a manual louvre pergola — you open and close the louvres by hand. It is a frame-only product so all side elements such as blinds, panels and doors are added separately, giving you complete control over the final configuration.
Professional installation service
Our professional installation service covers delivery, full assembly and removal of all packaging. Pricing is based on the size of your pergola and will be confirmed when you book.
We will be in touch after ordering to arrange a date within 14 business days, or up to 3 weeks during our busy season (February to September).
Before we arrive
- Ground preparation must be complete. Refer to the Ground Preparation Guide before doing anything to your surface. The Pro is a heavier structure so concrete pads under each leg are strongly recommended even on well-laid paving.
- The installation area must be completely cleared of furniture, planters and any obstacles.
- You must be home for the full duration of the visit.
- If you rent or lease, written permission from your landlord must be obtained before installation.
Didn't add the installation service at checkout? No problem, just get in touch before your delivery is scheduled and we can sort it.
Self-assembly
- Allow 3 to 4 hours and have 2 to 3 people available.
- Choose a dry calm day.
- Check all components before starting. If anything is missing or damaged contact us before beginning assembly.
- Bolt-down must happen immediately after assembly is complete.
Changed your mind about self-assembly? The professional installation service can still be added. Contact us before your delivery is scheduled to arrange it.
Bolting down
Bolting down must happen immediately after assembly is complete. An unbolted pergola is at risk of wind movement which will damage the frame and any blinds and will invalidate your warranty. Any visit from our team to fix issues caused by an unbolted pergola will be charged at £250 plus parts.
- 8 to 16 bolts are required depending on your setup. If you can't reach 8 contact us before proceeding.
- Porcelain or stone surfaces require diamond drill bits which are not included with the pergola.
- Non-standard surface? Contact us before assembly day and we'll advise on the right fixings.
What you can add to your Pro
All side configurations are sold separately and can be added at any time before or after assembly.
Manual Drop Side Blinds
Available in 3m and 4m lengths in Grey. Can be added to any open side after assembly.
Louvred Side Panels
Available in 3m and 4m widths. A top beam for each side is required first and is sold separately.
Glass or Louvred Sliding Doors
Available in 3m and 4m in glass or louvred aluminium.
WiFi and Bluetooth Heater
Fully compatible with the Pro frame. App and remote controlled.
Garden Furniture
Luna and Panama are the most popular ranges alongside the Pro. For 3m x 3m and 3m x 4m models the Luna Corner Dining Sets with Rising Fire Pit Table and Panama Sofa Sets are the standout choices. For 3m x 6m and 3m x 7m extending dining sets work best. The Luna and Pello extending ranges are both recommended.
Keeping your Pro in great shape
- Check all bolts and structural joints regularly, particularly before and after strong winds.
- Keep gutters and drainage channels clear of debris.
- Clean the aluminium frame annually with a suitable aluminium cleaner.
- We recommend adding your pergola to your home insurance from the day of delivery.
Questions
Do I need the top beam before I can add louvred panels?
Yes, the top beam must be fitted to each side first before panels can be installed. It is sold separately so make sure you have it before ordering the panels.
Can I add side elements after the initial assembly?
Yes, all blinds, panels and doors can be added at any time. Some configurations may need a return visit from our team to fit properly.
My surface isn't suitable for expansion bolts. What are my options?
Contact us before assembly day and we'll advise on the right fixings for your surface.
