Harbour Lifestyle offers 1-year, 3-year, 5-year & 7-year guarantees across our pergola, furniture r and accessories ranges. Please note our guarantee across our Outdoor Fabric, Rope Weave, Rattan & Aluminium ranges only covers structural damage (framework), oxidisation and discolouration in the UK. Please note for wooden furniture, discolouration and weathering will occur over time even with the correct care solutions being applied to the furniture, please follow our product care guidance for all our wooden garden furniture. Fire-pit systems and all accessories are covered by a 1-year guarantee. The guarantee does not include glass, ceramic glass, cushion fabric, cushion fillings, rattan, rope weave, or stitching supplied with the furniture sets. In addition, our warranty is only valid in the UK.
Please note our PergoSTET Pergolas come with a 3-year guarantee on the beams and main pergola structure. The side blinds and operating louvres are covered by a 1-year guarantee. Please note any customisation to, or misuse of your pergola will automatically void your warranty. Additionally, it is essential that your pergola is bolted down immediately following assembly. Harbour Lifestyle cannot accept responsibility for any issues which arise to the structure, mechanism or blind operation as a result of your pergola remaining un-bolted down.
Our guarantees are only valid in the UK.
Harbour reserves the right to not apply the guarantee where it deems, and/or when damages and defects are caused by the below:
- There's evidence of product abuse, misuse or use in a non-domestic environment
- The product hasn't been properly assemble, installed or maintained in accordance with our care instructions
- The product is in an unsanitary condition (for example, caused by pets or pests). We also reserve the right to refuse to collect and/or dispose of any unsanitary product
- The product has been exported outside of the UK
- Fair wear and tear
- Commercial use (unless agreed at the point of order)
Nothing in this clause will reduce your statutory rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods. Reliance on your statutory rights is free of charge.
Our warranty is only valid in the UK and cannot be applied to items exported from the UK Mainland.

Outdoor Products
Rattan Garden Furniture
The guarantees for rattan furniture include protection against structural damage, rust, and fade. The guarantee does not cover natural wear and tear. Rattan products may contract or expand in foreign, extreme temperatures, which is not covered under guarantee. Garden furniture cushions and glass are not covered under guarantee unless they have arrived damaged. We will replace damaged items within 14 days after delivery if the item arrives damaged. These items are not covered by the furniture guarantee.
You should note that rattan weaves can be made up of different colour strands. These variations may look different in your garden depending on how much sunlight is available. Because the furniture is handwoven, there will not be any two identical items.
Fabric Garden Furniture
Fabric garden furniture warranties cover damage to structural integrity, rust and colour fade. The guarantee does not cover natural wear and tear. Except for items that arrived damaged, the guarantee does not cover dirt and stains. We may replace the items if we have been informed of any damage within 14 days of delivery.
Parasols
Damage to a parasol canopy, such as rips and tears, are covered by guarantee on all parasols. The guarantee covers the crank and tilt system of an aluminium crank-and-tilt parasol. Parasol damage, including bending or damage from high winds, is not covered. Parasols should always be used with a base that is suitable and should always be covered and closed when not in use.
Covers
Please note that all of our Outdoor Furniture Covers are covered by our 1 Year Guarantee. This guarantee covers natural rips at the seams. No replacement will be given for covers that have been ripped by force or cut with scissors. Harbour Lifestyle reserves all rights to determine if the damage was caused by misuse or manufacturer error. Please note that whilst the covers may fade if exposed to direct sunlight, the guarantee does not cover colour fading.
Garden Furniture Cushions
All cushions for garden furniture sets must be kept indoors unless the manufacturer specifically states that they can be left outside. Even if furniture covers are applied, cushions must be kept inside.
Pergolas
Our PergoSTET Pergola 3 Year Guarantee covers material or manufacturing defects during normal use within the guarantee period. This guarantee does not cover Side Blinds, LED Lighting or Louvres (which are all covered by a 1 Year Guarantee).
Our guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear, ground movement or damage from extreme weather conditions such as storm damage or high winds.
If you have opted not to select to have your pergola bolted down by us, It is your responsibility to ensure that this is conducted immediately following assembly. Failure to bolt-down your pergola will invalidate your warranty as the structure & louvre mechanism will be vulnerable to movement & damage, as well as the blinds being vulnerable to the movement of the pergola legs. Harbour Lifestyle cannot be held responsible for any damage or to your pergola, blinds or other property as a result of your pergola remaining unbolted-down following assembly.
Any visits by Harbour Lifestyle and/or replacement components required to rectify issues caused as a result of your pergola not being bolted down will be chargeable.

15 Year Indoor Furniture Guarantee
We know that sometimes things don’t always go as planned. That’s why we offer a guarantee we’re proud of, designed to protect you in those rare moments when an issue arises. For complete peace of mind, our 15-year guarantee covers all of the essential elements of our Burford Indoor Range including frames, hinges, and upholstery, ensuring your investment is protected.
Please note that this 15 year guarantee is only applicable to the Burford ranges and not other indoor furniture sold on our website.
Please be aware that this guarantee won’t apply if:
The product shows signs of abuse, misuse, or use in a non-domestic setting.
The product hasn’t been properly cared for according to our care instructions.
The product is in an unsanitary condition (e.g., due to pets). We also reserve the right not to collect or dispose of any unsanitary items.
The product has been exported outside of Great Britain.

1 Year Guarantee
Indoor furniture and indoor lighting that is not part of the Burford range comes with a 1-year guarantee. Please note that all other indoor accessories are not covered by this guarantee. This covers any manufacturing defects, material faults, or issues with craftsmanship during normal domestic use
Harbour Lifestyle's Guarantee covers the unexpected failure or breakage of this product and is valid only for domestic use.
Please note this guarantee won’t apply if:
The product shows signs of abuse, misuse, or use in a non-domestic setting.
The product hasn’t been properly cared for according to our care instructions.
The product is in an unsanitary condition (e.g., due to pets). We also reserve the right not to collect or dispose of any unsanitary items.

How do I claim on my guarantee?

Making a claim:
You'll need proof of purchase including your order confirmation
If your product can't be repaired then we'll replace it with the same model. However, if your product is no longer available, we'll swap it with one of an equivalent specification or purchase value
Your guarantee won't cover you if:
There's evidence of product abuse, misuse or use in a non-domestic environment
The product hasn't been properly maintained in accordance with our care instructions
The product is in an unsanitary condition (caused by pets, for example). We also reserve the right to refuse to collect and/or dispose of any unsanitary product
The product has been exported outside of Great Britain.
Nothing in this clause will reduce your statutory rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods. Reliance on your statutory rights is free of charge.

Harbour Lifestyle cannot accept responsibility for any costs associated with delays to your delivery.
Where third party contractors have been arranged by you (eg. to assemble furniture or pergolas), Harbour Lifestyle cannot accept responsibility for any costs associated with delays to the service provided, howsoever caused.
